NightCare Mattress

The NightCare Mattress is unlike any mattress  on the market today — foam or traditional. Our inclusive “tuned” foam segments provide just the right about of support for every part of your body. Overall height of the NightCare Mattress is 11.5 inches and it will work with the bed frame and foundation you already own.

NightCare Mattress

Less Pressure Means Better Sleep

The NightCare Mattress, using patented segmented support, provides ultra-low pressure, improved anatomical support and better spinal alignment.

Ordinary mattresses can cause hip, shoulder, neck, lower back pain and sleep disruption by creating high pressures, spinal shear and misalignment. These mattresses place excessive pressure on the hip and shoulder, which you can feel and which can seriously disrupt your sleep.

You’ll Feel the Difference Immediately

The difference between the NightCare Mattress and every other mattress can be felt immediately. Lay down and our patented Hip Relief Area centers your body on the mattress. Each region of your body rests on one of the seven support segments that make up every NightCare Mattress.

Your hip – the point of highest pressure on the mattress – naturally fits into our Hip Relief Area which slightly lowers and dramatically reduces pressure on the hip bone (greater trochanter), a major initiation point of tossing and turning. A second source of discomfort is eliminated when your shoulder settles into its own low-pressure support segment.

Our highest-quality High-Density foams are tuned to each part of your body providing the correct amount of support for ultimate comfort. The result: Falling asleep quickly and waking up feeling much more refreshed — on a mattress you can barely feel!

Mattress Stress Comparison

Good Posture Matters, Even While Sleeping

Because mattresses are flat and your body is contoured, your spine and hip can be slightly offset when sleeping on your side. This offset is known as spinal shear and is a major cause of low-back pain. Most mattresses, including foam models, provide an undifferentiated surface for the entire body. Some mattresses are better than others, of course, but none properly respond to the human anatomy.

The NightCare Mattress’ patented hip alignment technology significantly improves spinal – especially lumbar–alignment.

The NightCare Mattress vs. Competitors

All mattress types create too much pressure on the skin, constricting blood flow and causing discomfort and sleep disruption. To compensate, the body moves so that the high pressure is relieved, if only by moving the pressure someplace else.

The “tossing-and-turning threshold” is about 32mmHg, or about .6 pounds-per-square-inch. Below this pressure, your blood can flow through the compressed area. Above this threshold, blood flow is compromised, and you will involuntarily turn to avoid skin damage.

Mattresses must deal with two opposing factors: support and comfort. Gaining one can result in reducing the other, yet your body demands both. Too little support may create a very comfortable mattress, until the next morning when getting out of bed can be painful. Too much support and you might as well be sleeping on the floor, unable to find a comforable position. Mattress materials that are supportive tend to be less comfortable and materials that are comfortable tend to be less supportive. The challenge was to reconcile these opposing factors without compromise.

If a person does not have a mattress than is both extremely comfortable and supportive, she or he will sleep poorly. Do that long enough and a sleep deficit is developed. The NightCare Mattress can help reduce or eliminate that debt.

Simply put: Unlike other tech industries, the mattress industry has not benefited from fundamental research and new technology — until now. The search for a truly “best” mattress has driven our 10 year sleep research and product development effort. We like to think of the NightCare Mattress as a more than a mattress, it’s a better–sleep delivery system.

The arrival of “memory foam” mattresses and toppers was the last “advance” and that foam formulation was developed during the 1970 ’s. These memory foam mattresses are still just undifferentiated slabs of foam and are far from optimal.

Exclusive Tuned Support Segments

The NightCare Mattress is constructed of seven Tuned Support Segments from head to toe. After precisely measuring the pressures the human body places on a mattress, we learned that the hip and shoulder protruberances are the areas of greatest pressure.

The NightCare Mattress uses several different types of foam – each designed to support different weights – to create the seven Tuned Support Segments. It is constructed with two Hip Relief Channels, designed to allow significant pressure relief and tuned support for the pelvis and trochanter. Besides dramatically reducing hip pressure, it provides better alignment.

The real world benefit of the NightCare Mattress is greatly reduced tossing and turning and disturbed sleep, resulting in dramatically improved comfort and next-day well being.
